Privacy Policy
Effective 6 November 2026
This policy covers the Kintaire games for iPhone and iPad, Kintaire: Word Solitaire, Kintaire: Classic Solitaire and Kintaire Mahjong, the games played in a browser at kintaire.com, and the website kintaire.com.
What we collect ourselves
Unless you sign in, nothing that identifies you. You can play without an account. We do not collect your name, contacts, photos or precise location, and we run no analytics of our own.
Your account, if you sign in
Signing in is optional and is offered in Kintaire: Word Solitaire and Kintaire Mahjong. Each game has its own account and keeps its own progress, separate from the other. An account keeps your progress in that game so you can carry on in the app or in a browser. If you sign in with Apple, we receive and store an account identifier and the email address Apple gives us, which is a private relay address if you choose to hide your email. With that account we store your game progress: your level, coins, lives, spare boosters and game statistics. We use this only to sign you in and to keep your progress the same on your devices. We do not use it for advertising and do not share or sell it.
Accounts and saved progress are kept by our hosting provider, Supabase, on servers in the European Union. You can delete your account in a game and everything saved on it at any time; this does not touch your account or progress in the other game: open Account in the game (in the app, under Settings) and choose Delete account. You can also ask us at the address below. The game on your device keeps working without an account.
Kintaire: Classic Solitaire
Kintaire: Classic Solitaire keeps your game in progress, your statistics, your daily challenge results and your settings on your device only. It has no account. Like Word Solitaire it shows adverts through Google AdMob and offers a one-time purchase that removes them, handled by Apple; the sections on advertising and purchases below apply to both games.
Advertising
The game is free and shows adverts through Google AdMob: now and then between levels, and when you choose to watch one for coins. To show and measure these adverts, Google's advertising software in the app collects some data from your device: a device or advertising identifier, your IP address (which gives an approximate location), how you interact with adverts, and diagnostic data such as crash and performance information. Google uses this to deliver adverts, limit how often you see the same one, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, show adverts that are more relevant to you. Google explains its use of this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Before the app uses your device's advertising identifier it asks for your permission. If you say no, you still see adverts, but they are not chosen using that identifier. You can change your answer at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Where the law requires it, the app also asks for your consent to personalised advertising before any adverts are shown.
Purchases
Coin packs, No Ads and the bundle are bought through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles the payment; we never see your card or billing details. Buying No Ads or the bundle removes the adverts between levels, and the purchase can be restored on your other devices from the shop.
What stays on your device
Your level, coins, lives, boosters, purchases, chosen language and sound settings are saved on your device, or in your browser for the web game, so the game can pick up where you left off. Unless you sign in, this information is not sent to us. Deleting the app, or clearing the site's data in your browser, deletes it.
The website
kintaire.com has no cookies of its own, tracking scripts or adverts. The web game keeps your progress, and your sign-in if you use one, in your browser's storage. Like any website, the hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
Children
Kintaire Solitaire is a game for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
If the way the app handles data changes, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the date above will change.
